Illustration Friday: "Heights"
I thought of this illustration I created recently for this week's IF submission. This is my modern take on Don Juan DeMarco as an infant, with his prim mother Inez, and somewhat clueless, womanizing father, Jose. They definitely enjoy the upper class lifestyle somewhere in the "heights" of well-to-do Seville.
In between waiting for projects to start, I return to my enjoyable side project, Jailbird in my Treehouse. Here is illustration #2 depicting more meat smuggling shenanigans...*Here it is updated with clouds!
Wow, two beautiful illustrations, and the tone is so different in each! I think I like the top one best, with those terrific characters and that wonderful background. Super great job on both!
